Until the Wind Changed
Abandoned Artists 3rd Anniversary - June 2026 - North Edinburgh Arts

Three artists. Three art forms. One shared story.
This live performance brought together painting, dance, and music in a single creative moment.
As the artwork slowly appeared on the canvas, movement gave it emotion, and music gave it a voice.
Each artist expressed the same story through a different language, creating one living piece of art.
The finished painting, Until the Wind Changed, features a dandelion — the symbol of Abandoned Artist.
It represents the journey of every creative person:
the first signs of growth, the courage to bloom, and finally the moment when the seeds are released, ready to travel beyond what they have ever known.
But dandelion seeds cannot fly on their own.
They need the wind.
That is the heart of this piece.
The wind represents every person who believes in artists, supports their work, and helps their creativity reach new places.
Every act of encouragement, every opportunity, every donation, every shared story becomes part of that wind.
Until the Wind Changed is a reminder that talent alone is not always enough. Sometimes, all it takes is one person to help creativity travel further, take root, and bloom again.
